Is it normal for pierced earlobes to hurt 2 to 3 days after getting them?

They will be tender for a few days. It's just like getting a tattoo, doing anything how do you say..unnatural..to your body will make it react until it adjusts to the change. When getting your cartilage pierced it's soar for a month. So don't worry about it, unless it starts looking infected. Just be sure to keep rotating it and keep it clean.
