I had a dream that..?

I had a dream that I got gauges shaped like triangles in my earlobes and I remember my mom saw them and was surprised, I think disappointed. I do not want gauges, that's why this is weird. I do have an industrial piercing and studs in my lobes, though. The industrial piercing is uncommon where I live and people tend to be judgmental about it. What does my dream mean?
